How to make our handprint flower cards

Start by taking the piece of card that you are going to use for the main body of your card. Fold it in half so that your fold stretches along the longest part of your card so that you have a long thin card rather than a regular sized one.

Cut a small section off the bottom of the card, approximately 4cm thick. And then pop the small piece aside for later.

Place your little ones’ hand onto the coloured card that you will be using for your flower head and use a pencil to draw around it. Once you have your handprint, use a pair of scissors to cut it out.

Now take your green card and cut out a long thin strip to make the flower stem, glue the stem onto the back of your handprint flower.

Next, glue the flower onto your card with the handprint near the top. Cut out some little leaves and glue them in position on either the side of the stem, wherever you think looks cute.
Take the small section of card that you snipped off the main body of your card and cut out a small heart from it. Glue the heart onto the handprint flower.

Finally use your pen to add any cute little personalised message; these cards are great for a whole host of occasions!
You’re finished! I bet your cards look beautiful, did you know you can now share them with us on Facebook?!
