How to make our heart flower card

Take a piece of white a4 card and fold it in half to create a greetings card shape.

Now take the green card and cut out thin strips to make the stems, we settled on five flowers for space but you can do as many or many as you like with your children.

Cut out several identical hearts allowing three for each flower. The easiest way to keep them all equal is to cut out one heart and then use it as a template for the others. Fold the hearts in half.
For five flowers we cut out fifteen hearts.

Glue one heart on the end of each stem to make the base of the flower

Take two of your folded hearts and glue one heart on one side of one of your flower pieces and the other on the other half as can be seen above.

Repeat this step with all of your flowers to give them all that 3D effect. Then cut out a flower pot shape and glue it down at the bottom of your card covering all of the stems.

Add any optional extra details such as a ribbon bow or a special message. Once your card is dry it’s ready for gifting to somebody special!
