We love these adorable card easter bunny decorations! They look fab as a stand-alone decoration or as part of some fun spring/Easter themed bunting. All you need is a few basic resources, and you can make your own adorable bunny too!

Here’s what we used

  • Coloured card (pink and browns)
  • Googly eyes
  • A pen
  • Scissors
  • Glue

How to make our card easter bunny decorations

Take two pieces of A4 card, fold them in half as if making a greetings card and then cut them in half along the folded lines to give you four equal rectangles of card.

Take your first rectangle and make a small fold approximately 2cm high into the bottom, then turn it over and fold it again the same amount.

Continue this process until you have accordion folded the whole piece of paper till the end.

Repeat the previous two steps with the remaining three rectangles so that you have four folded strips in total.

Take one of your strips, fold it in half. Spread some glue in between the middle section and stick the two halves together. Then repeat this step with the other three strips.

Place the pieces in a circle and then glue them all together

Now take your extra piece of paper and cut out a circular shaped head and two long thin ears. Glue the ears onto the circle.

Now add the facial details such as a nose, two googly eyes, inner ears and a simple hand drawn mouth with whiskers, glue the rabbits head onto the paper decoration and optionally add a little tail to the back. Your super cute bunny decoration is finished! If you’d like to hang your decoration up you can simply tie a length of yarn into a loop and glue it into the folds on the back
