How cute is this little tool belt fathers day card craft? We think it’s adorable! We made this as a fathers day card but It’s perfect as a birthday card for any tradesman or woman too. The best part is that you can totally customize the contents of the pockets to match your recipient’s profession!

You will need

  • Coloured card (we used blue and light brown)
  • Coloured paper (we used dark brown, red, green, purple and sliver)
  • Black pen
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Place your coloured A4 paper in a landscape position. Take the left edge of your card and fold it in to the centre. Then, fold the right side in to the centre to meet it,

Cut out a section from the top of each side of your card to make the shirt shape. Then, fold the inner top corners outwards to the sides of your card to make your collar.

Cut out two dark brown strips and glue them down in line about a third of the way up your card.

Then, take your light brown paper and cut out two pocket shapes. Use a black marker to draw on the stitching and put your pockets to one side for a second.

Next you’ll need to make your tools, you can see above that we cut the handles from coloured paper and then the metal parts from silver paper. You could copy the tools we made or you could change them to suit your profession!
