Upcycle an old paper roll with this cute tp roll giraffe craft for kids! This sweet little fella is really simple to make and only requires a few basic materials. We had so much fun with him and can’t wait to make him some other little safari themed friends!

Here’s what we used

  • A clean tp roll
  • Card (yellow and brown)
  • Paper (white and orange)
  • Sticker eyes
  • Scissors
  • Glue

How to make our easy tp roll giraffe craft

Start by cutting out a rectangle of yellow card that is the same height as your tp roll and long enough to wrap around and cover the entire roll. Glue the card around the roll.

Now we’re going to make the giraffe’s head. Cut out a yellow arched shaped piece as can be seen above and then a brown oval for the nose. Glue the two pieces together to make the head.

Next, you’ll need to cut out two yellow outer ears and two slightly smaller brown inner ears. Glue the brown ears in place on the yellow ones, then cut out the two T shaped horns.

Attach all the pieces onto the giraffes head and then give it two big eyes.

Add any optional face details such as our little white nostrils and then make two little brown hooves. Glue the hooves onto the bottom of the tp roll and the head onto the top

Finish off your adorable and super easy tp roll giraffe craft by adding some orange patches to its body. We just love this little cutie!
