How to make our heart shaped corner bookmarks

Start by taking your piece of paper and cutting it into a square. We used 15cm by 15cm to make our bookmark

Fold your square directly in half to make a triangle.

Take the bottom left point and fold it up to meet the top point. Then repeat the same process with the bottom right point to give you a diamond shape

Open the sides back out into your larger triangle. take the top point of your triangle (upper layer only and fold it directly downwards to the middle of the base of the triangle.

Fold the bottom points of triangles in to meet your last fold.

Now take the left side fold it back upwards and tuck it in behind the little pocket you should be able to see.

Repeat this process on the other side and you have made a bookmark!

Now take your scissors and trim the non-folded side of the bookmark into a heart shape.

Optionally you can cut out a rectangular piece of card, add a message and then glue it in place. These heart shaped corner bookmarks make gorgeous little gifts for loved ones!
