I just love how simple and easy this paper plate Rudolph is to make. Older children will enjoy cutting and sticking all the pieces and younger children can enjoy a fun, messy sticking activity with a grown up cutting out the shapes for them.
I know what you’re thinking; its not even Halloween yet! why is she posting Christmas crafts? But the truth is Christmas has been in full swing in my household for a few weeks already. This year will be my first year selling at Christmas markets and I’ve been super busy making enough Christmas decorations and gifts to stock them. Besides, i like to have the majority of my decorations up on the first of December and not to scare you but thats only 5 weeks away now!
Here’s what we used
- A paper plate
- Brown paper
- Brown card
- Red paper
- White paper
- Green paper
- Scissors
- Glue
How to make our paper plate rudolph

Start by taking your brown paper and cutting it up into several square pieces. Spread glue all over the paper plate and cover it with the brown squares. Once your finish trim the paper around the edge of the plate to give you a nice smooth circle again.

Now cut out two reindeer antlers from your brown card and glue them down in position on the back of the paper plate.

Cut out two large white circles for the piter eyes and glue them down towards the top half of the paper plate.

Now add two coloured circles to make the inner eyes and two much smaller circles to make the light spots on the eyes.

Finally we need to make the nose for our reindeer! Cut out a large red oval nose and stick it down just touching the eyes. Finish off by adding a little streak of white to make the nose look super shiny. Once dry your paper plate reindeer is finished? Aren’t these adorable!
