I absolutely love these little photo frame ornaments! We’ve ordered some prints to go in them but they haven’t arrived yet, Still they’re all ready to go and we just couldn’t wait to share them with you. My favorite part about these is how each one is so unique, my son decorated these three and they’re each beautiful! We will be keeping these ones for our tree because I can’t bear to part with them but once our photos arrive we will be making more to post out to grandparents and other loved ones! There are so many lovely designs that you can make and we would love to see what you and your little ones come up with. Did you know we now have a Facebook? You can share them with us there!
Make the base of your photo frame by cutting out two equally sized circles. Take one of the circles and cut out a circle from the centre to make the front ring of the frame.
Now it’s time for little one to decorate their photo frames using their favorite embellishments!
Cut your photo down to size and glue it to the front of the backing circle (you can draw around your circle to help you cut your photo to the right size!). Then cut out a small semi circle tab and pierce a hole in the top center. Glue the tab down at the top of of the bauble as you can see above.
Glue the two sides of your photo frame together and tie a loop in your string. Thread the loop through the hole at the top of your bauble and pull the loop through itself to knot it on securely. Your adorable photo frame is ready to display or gift!
It still feels as if Christmas has only just been and gone but valentines day is right around the corner and easter is not far behind. The shops have already started stocking eggs and my son has already started asking about easter eggs so I figured it wouldn’t be too early to start making some easter crafts. Besides, all you have to do is switch out the easter eggs for chicken eggs or flowers and this becomes a simple spring craft. So why not give this DIY easter photo frame a go!
You will need
Green/blue Paint and a paintbrush
Coloured Paper
Scissors
Glue gun or strong glue
4 popsicle sticks
Marker
Googly eyes
Start off by painting your popsicle sticks. You will need one Green, one blue and two half and half sticks. Put them aside to dry.
Whilst your sticks are drying you can make your decorations. We cut out a round yellow sun, a white cloud, two easter eggs which we decorated with pens and a fluffy sheep (see above for the shapes we used to make our sheep).
Once your Popsicle sticks are dry, glue them together as shown above with the green halves of your stick attached to the green stick and the blue halves attached to the blue ones.
Glue on your decorations and optionally use a marker to add a message to your frame. All that’s left to do is to cut out your chosen photo and glue it in place on the back of your frame.
As a mother there is no amount of money that can buy you a gift so cherished as one made by your child. This little DIY mothers day frame is really sweet and straightforward to make and it looks great at home or on an office desk. So why not share the love this mothers day with this easy DIY craft.
You will need

To make the daisies, cut out a white flower and then glue a yellow circle in the centre. You’ll need two daisies.
Once your sticks are dry glue them into a square as you can see above.
Add your little handmade decorations to the corners and optionally write a message on your frame. finish off your frame by cutting out a picture and gluing it to the back of your frame. Now all thats left is to do is gift your creation to a special someone!
