These adorable spiders are so quick and easy to make and are great as homemade halloween decor hung from the ceilings or even just as a cute incy wincy spider inspired craft!
I love to see your home creations, did you know I’m now on Facebook and instagram? You can share them with me there!
Here’s what you’ll need
1 large Pom Pom
1 small Pom Pom
4 pipe cleaners (depending on the size of the pom poms you are using you may be able to use 2 pipe cleaners and chop them in half)
Two Googly eyes
How to make our adorable Pom Pom spider
Take your small pom pom (which will be the spiders head) and use a small blob of glue to attach it to the larger pom pom which will be the spider’s body.
Glue your pipe cleaners centrally across the underside of the spiders belly so that you have 4 legs sticking out each side.
Attach two eyes to the front of your spiders face and optionally add any details such as fangs on a mouth.
Finally bend the pipe cleaners upwards and then outwards to create the shape of the spiders legs. Aren’t these little Pom Pom spiders adorable? We added some stretchy elastic to the back of ours to make a web for the kids to bounce him up and down with!
A couple of weeks back i bought a Giant class bag of buttons and haven’t got round to making any button crafts since. So today i thought i’d best bust them open and try and get something made with them. Not in the least to stop my other half saying i was buying stuff and not using it! It’s been a busy day so i decided it would have to be something quick and simple. Sometimes the cutest crafts are the simplest ones and sometimes all we want is a last minute make to gift. This cute little button Easter chick card is so quick and easy to make but it still looks adorable!
you will need:
Buttons (Brown and yellow)
Orange and black pens
Use larger buttons to make the body of your chicks and slightly smaller ones for the head. Make a large brown chicken on the left hand side to be the mother hen, then add two or three smaller ones to the right of her as if they were following behind.
Use your orange marker to add triangular beaks to each chicken. Then, using the same orange marker give each chick two little legs.
Glue a googly eye on to the head button of all the chickens and leave to dry. Once your card is completely dry, use your black marker to add your own special message to the top of the cards. your Easter card is finished! aren’t those little chickens just the cutest!
