Simple and fun corner book marks.
These little bookmarks are so sweet and really simple, they only take a couple of minutes to make and you can create pretty much any design. They make lovely handmade gifts from children and are also great as party bag fillers too!
To decorate ours, we simply cut our design out of different coloured card and stuck it to our bookmark, we had a animal theme going on because our little boy is animal mad but you can make any design you like!
What you will need:
1 Piece of card or origami paper
A ruler
Scissors
Anything to decorate (we use coloured card and glue)

step 1) Cut a square from your piece of card, you can make 2 bookmarks from 1 A4 sheet.

Step 2) fold your square in half to make a triangle

Step 3) take one of the lower points and fold it up to the middle point

Step 4) Repeat step 3 on the other side

Step 5) open your bookmark back out to a triangle

Step 6) on the front layer only, take the top point and fold it to the bottom line. It should fit in the fold line you just created

Step 7) Take a lower corner, fold it upwards and tuck it tightly under the triangle you just made

Step 8) Repeat step 7 on the other side. That’s it, you’re finished! all that’s left to do is decorate your bookmark. We turned this one into a shark, you can see it in the photo above!
