The best part is that they’re super budget friendly which makes them the perfect spooky Halloween craft to make alone at home or in large groups. This little spider is also great way to explore the world of mini beasts or as a fun incy wincy inspired activity!

How to make a hanging Halloween spider

Start by taking your coloured card and cutting out one large circle for the body and one small circle for the head.

Glue the head circle onto the bottom of the body circle as you can see above.

Cut out 8 little pointed legs and start by gluing one pointing downwards on each side of the head and then glue on the remaining legs.

Cut out two little fangs and glue them on the back of the spiders head pointing downwards. Glue on two Googly eyes and your spider is almost complete!

If you want to hang the spider punch a hold at the top of its body and thread a piece of string through the hole. We love the way these look hanging in our window; perfect for Halloween!
