Spooky toilet roll mummies
Eek! I can’t believe that Halloween is only two weeks away! with everything that’s been going on, this year seems to have passed us by twice as fast as usual. We won’t be able to go to any parties this year or out trick or treating but we’re still planning to make the most of it with some fun crafts, (just like these spooky toilet roll mummies!) a movie and a bucketful of treats! I’m thinking something scooby doo, my son is a a huge fan of the tv shows and for him it’s not too scary. I’d love to hear any movie suggestions though if anyone has any to share!
What are your Halloween plans with your little ones? we’d love to hear them!
Here’s what we used
Toilet roll
Newspaper
Black paint and paintbrush
Wiggly eyes
Scissors
Glue
How to make our spooky toilet roll mummies
First take your tp roll and coat it in black paint before putting it aside to dry.
Once dry, add two eyes to the tp roll mummy. We used extra large wiggly eyes but you could use any type!
To make the mummy’s bandages take the newspaper and cut out several thin strips. Glue one side of each strip and wrap it around the body of your toilet roll. Pop it aside to dry and once it’s fully dry its ready to display or play with!
