Wavy paper Jellyfish
Wavy paper Jellyfish
How Cute are these little wavy paper jellyfish? The idea for these actually came about when I was making my Halloween paper ghosts and my son said how they looked like Jellyfish. He absolutely loves all things under the sea so I tweaked about with the original craft and came up with these. i’m pretty pleased with them too!
You will need
2 pieces of Coloured paper White paper Black paper or marker Scissors glue
To make the body of your jellyfish; take your two pieces of coloured paper and glue them together in the portrait position.
Use your scissors to Round off the top corners of your paper. This will make the dome shape of your jellyfish.
Take your scissors and cut strips into the bottom of your jellyfish. Stretch them up to about half way up your top piece of paper.
Now, take your first strip and begin folding it using accordion folds (like a fan) by following a pattern of folding one way and then back the other.
Repeat this step with the rest of your strips.
Now to finish your wavy paper jellyfish! cut and stick two white circles for the eyes and then using your marker or black paper; add two pupils and a smiley mouth.
