After making our adorable Toilet roll humpback whales the other day, my little boy was absolutely determined that we should make some more whale designs. So today we’re sharing this cute toilet roll orca whale craft with you! My little guy designed these by himself and did most of the work by himself too. He is so pleased with them and has been playing with them non stop for the last hour, he really loves them and i think they are pretty cute too!

Here’s what we used

  • Toilet roll
  • Black and white paper
  • Black and pink paint and paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Googly eyes

How to make a Toilet roll orca whale

Take the paper roll and coat the inside of one end in the pink paint before painting the outside black and then popping it aside to dry.

Cut out the shape of the whale’s tail and glue it in place inside the toilet roll body. Then cut out two fin shapes and fold a small tab at the base of each that you can then use to glue them onto either side of the whale.

Cut out two white ovals and glue them near the head of the whale. Add some more white patches around the tail of the whale.

Glue a googly eye on either side of the whale. Optionally cut out and glue on a third fin on top of the whale as the dorsal fin. Leave to dry and once done the toilet roll orca whale is finished!
