Paper flower card
Simple and easy to make; this Paper flower card is perfect for mothers, grandmothers, teachers and more!
Here’s what we used
Quilling strips OR coloured paper cut into long thin strips
Coloured card
White paper
Scissors
Glue
Cocktail stick (optional)
How to make this adorable Paper flower card
First you’ll want to Start by making your card. We made ours tall and narrow by folding a square piece of card. Once you have your card, cut out a white paper rectangle to glue onto the front and create the frame effect.
Next take your quilling strips/ long thin pieces of coloured paper and begin rolling them tightly. We did ours just by hand but some people find it handy to use a cocktail stick. Once you have reached the end glue the loose end down onto the paper roll.
Glue down a rolled peice of paper for the centre of the flower and then cut out and glue down a thin strip of paper for the stem.
Build up the rolled paper petals around the outside of the flower. 5-6 normally works perfectly.
To make the leaves, roll and glue your paper a little less tightly and then pinch it at opposite ends. Add a paper flower pot and a name/message and this adorable paper flower card is complete and ready to gift!
